Her Story

Wendy Robertson's journey is one of resilience, redemption, and unwavering faith. Having survived trafficking, addiction, incarceration, and profound personal adversity, she understands firsthand the challenges women face when trying to rebuild their lives. Through God's grace, perseverance, and education, Wendy transformed her experiences into a calling to help other women discover that their past does not have to determine their future.

Having grown up in Dale City, Virginia, Wendy considers Prince William County her hometown and maintains deep roots in the community. Although she spent a portion of her life in Florida, Virginia has always been home. Returning to the community where she grew up has given her a renewed sense of purpose: to serve women and families in the very region that helped shape her own story. Her vision is to create pathways to safety, stability, independence, and lasting transformation for women who need someone to believe in their potential.

More than two decades ago, as a single mother, Wendy made the difficult decision to pursue a professional certificate rather than complete her college degree so she could enter the workforce and provide for her family. Years later, she returned to Liberty University to finish what she started, pursuing her degree in Accounting and Entrepreneurship with a minor in Christian Counseling. As a member of the Omega Nu Lambda National Honor Society, she demonstrates that perseverance, personal growth, and lifelong learning can open doors at any stage of life.

Today, as the founder and leader of Kingdom Women Foundation, Wendy combines her lived experiences, professional leadership, education, and Christian faith to advocate for women overcoming abuse, exploitation, and other life-altering circumstances. Her mission extends beyond helping women survive their past; she desires to equip them with the resources, encouragement, and opportunities necessary to build a meaningful and sustainable future.

Her book, Surviving the Fiery Furnace, shares the powerful testimony behind that calling and reflects the heart of Kingdom Women Foundation: that through faith, restoration, and compassionate support, lives can be transformed and purpose can emerge from even the most difficult circumstances.
