Legacy Scholarships: Honoring Lives, Empowering Futures

Every life has a story worth remembering.

Kingdom Women Foundation envisions establishing memorial scholarships named in honor of individuals whose lives were lost to violence. These scholarships will seek to provide educational opportunities for children who have lost a parent to violence, while preserving the names, legacies, and stories of those taken too soon.

Through education, remembrance, and opportunity, we hope to transform loss into lasting impact.

Who we hope to serve

Our vision is to open these opportunities to children who have lost a parent to any form of violence — including domestic violence, human trafficking, homicide, and other acts of violence. Every child carrying that loss deserves a path forward.

What each memorial scholarship may include

  • The name of the person being honored
  • A respectful memorial tribute
  • A brief account of their life and legacy
  • The scholarship's educational purpose
  • The opportunities the scholarship is intended to provide

Each tribute will celebrate the person's life, not the circumstances of their death.

Honoring families with care

Any memorial scholarship bearing a person's name, photograph, or story will be developed together with their family and only with documented permission from the appropriate rights holders or authorized representatives. We will not share identifying information about surviving children, private family circumstances, or sensitive details of violent incidents without that authorization.

Legacy Scholarships are a future initiative. They are not yet funded, accepting applications, or awarding scholarships, and eligibility requirements, funding, and application procedures are still being developed.
